Your Mind can help you Golf
A lot of us might turn frustrated and start to hate the game, the moment we feel that we are not winning anymore and when we start to feel that we cannot get better at the job at all. Many of us fail to understand that this is not reality at all. Our mind cannot let go of our past failures and keeps reminding us that we are failing once again.
But getting better is about nothing but to keep the basics right in relation to the way we think and act, the way we feel and respond, the way we change the way we feel about something towards a more positive manner. You might very easily delve into the negative thoughts and you may ruin the way you proceed with things in the future.
Negative thoughts mean the reminiscent remnants of the past experiences which might be considered bad. This can happen in Golf as well because it makes way for you to think negatively about yourself. Tuning your mind to the basics will help you play the game well.
Focus and Concentrate
The first basic thing is to concentrate on the present and forget the past. Concentrate on what you have to do than concentrating on what you have done. Do not go too much ahead into the future as well thinking about how you are going to fair well at the end of the game.
Think about the next shot
This means to think only about the next shot and not think about the 18th hole when you are just at the fourth. Do not get overambitious when you want to do well in the current hole. Sometimes, even a bad performance in the previous hole will make you worry about your overall score in the 18th hole.
Do not let Childhood memories take over
Almost all of us are inhibited in one way or the other because of the childhood memories that have caused serious inhibitions and a very high aversion towards the repetition of the same types of incidents in our lives. Even if anyone merely booed at us after a failure in our childhood, our mind would never want to lose again for the rest of our life.

In such situations, tell yourself that was the past, and not the present, nor is it going to be the future in anyway, you have grown and you are much better. While golfing, fear of failure is a high probability which though not make us feel embarrassed often distracts us from what we are to do at the moment.
