Titanium Drivers – What do they do – Part 2

Now that we have learned more about the Titanium Drivers, it is important to note that distance has to be coupled with accuracy to get the best of it. Beginners might find it difficult to control longer shafts and hence, a medium length shaft coupled with a titanium clubhead is easier to hit.

Graphite shafts are easier to hit and give longer distance than the steel shafts due to the additional shaft flex they possess. But, on the other hand, steel can give you more of accuracy than graphite. Some of the drivers can possess distance, accuracy, loft and control. Deeper face of the drivers can add to the control and give backspin to the ball.

But when extra materials are added to graphite, it can give you more accuracy with a reduced shaft flex. More than men, women can find more of utility with graphite shafts and titanium heads. Senior players can also take titanium heads and graphite shafts to their advantage and match their skills with the younger players who can hit longer distances.

Since Graphite shafts are made lighter with the other materials, and due to their reduced shaft flex, the ball gets an easy and high loft. The lightweight of the shaft can prevent injuries on your arms and back. But if you want more of accuracy and distance, there is a combination available of titanium clubheads with steel shafts, which can ensure accuracy as well as distance at the same time.

You may lack accuracy and it is hard for you to hit more balls than you miss or miss hit. You may not hit the most of distance and the difficulties might range from difficulty in controlling the club to shorter or longer shafts to smaller clubheads. Hitting off-center is high probability and titanium clubs can work even on off-center hits and can hit the ball farther away.

However, titanium may not turn out to be the perfect resolution for all your golfing problems or rather may not solve all problems related to your swinging, accuracy, distance, loft and control and what results as a good play will only result from practice, practice and more practice.

Along with the practice, you must have an understanding of what shafts to be selected and of what length, depending upon your need for accuracy and distance, whether the game of golfing is serious enough for you to afford such a costlier commodity called titanium club heads, with graphite shafts. And also look into whether you are comfortable with steel shafts or graphite shafts. All these combinations worked out well may turn out to be the best choice for you!
