Golf – Play it safe
Games are bound to turn less safe when not played wisely and also when precautions are not undertaken to the fullest. As adults, we are aware of the general behavioral traits that we may have to maintain in addition to the necessary precautions to be undertaken.
Golf can give rise to injuries and to avoid anyone getting injured, just follow the necessary precautions which are some of the rules of playing Golf. Not only with the Golf equipment, but also with your health, there are precautions to be undertaken.
Precautions on Equipment
You strongly have to be aware of clubs, balls, dehydration etc. Let us look into some of the precaution to be followed on the usage of equipment.
Tee off the balls not noses
The moment you are about to tee off, ensure that there is no seriously curious bloke beside you. Else, you may tee his nose off to a great trajectory instead of teeing off the ball.
Clear field
You have to clear the field on the area you are looking to hit the ball. If anyone is there around, you may shout “Fore”, which is a globally accepted term for ducking on the arrival of a Golf ball.
In case, if you are on the field on the arrival of the ball and when someone yells “Fore” at you, do take the precaution of ducking underneath some safe place and do not get inquisitively reflexive on which way the ball is approaching – whether or not you are hit, run into the bushes and save yourself.
Dehydration and Weather
The weather is very important when it comes to any sort of sport that is played outdoors. Sometimes, weather might turn hazardous. Climatic conditions are to be assessed prior to a playing day. In case of hot summer days, you can equip yourself with adequate Glucose, water, fresh juices and energy drinks.
This will keep you fresh and fatigue will be totally avoided. Dehydration is very dangerous and you have to keep yourself adequately fit with water. If there is lightning doing the rounds on the sky, soon it may want to reach for the open space you are in. Wind up for the day and there is always tomorrow.
Play the game safe – for yourself as well as for others. Safety is first priority to playing a game and a game as Golf has to be a merely enjoyable one always!
