Draw the Draw Shots your way

Draw shots are ones that any intermediate or advanced golfer must be equipped with. Beginners must be aware of how to play the drives, putts, and the pitches. But advanced golfers, however, must learn the draw shot technique and keep it in their armory, to go past obstacles and add more distance to their shots. As tests prove, the draw shots actually can increase your distance. On an average, a golfer may hit a distance of about 225-235 yards while taking a draw shot. That is why draw shots are said to improve your hitting distance. You might have to look into your stance and the swing, if you want to hit a draw shot. Take a perfect grip, keep your foot rightly apart, stand and address the ball in the right manner as you would have learned so far but only with a little following difference.

Look at where your target is and move your feet some 15 degrees right to the target line.

Keep your grip firmer than you always do and let the clubface point in-line with the target.

Just sweep the ball with a sweeping motion in your regular swing.

Select the right kind of club that helps you play a draw shot.

You may have to look into the weather conditions; the slopes etc. and bear them in mind while hitting a draw shot.

Just keep your best swing in tact and play with your best swing and do not experiment by changing your swing or any other technique except for direction of the clubhead.

Don’t twist your angle until you go past the obstacle.

There is always a last but not the least thing in playing golf that may sound either as an unpleasant one or as a welcome thing to many!
